Find out what is not required in your study abroad packing list

Now after getting your visa and tickets, Next thing which comes is your packing because packing is so important because you will be out for like a year or more and you will be having limited carrying space with you, so you have to plan accordingly and only have to pick the things which you will be going to need the most. So as a STUDY VISA CONSULTANTS IN JALANDHAR, we are here to tell you some things which you will not require to include in your packing list.

1. Lots of clothes and shoes-

Three to four pairs of shoes is the maximum required in your study trip abroad, not your whole shoe rack. So you can just bring one shoe pair for an outing or some work. One for your college and one nice pair for your outing and you are done. Shoes carry lots of space and students don't even get a chance to wear them all.

And for clothing, do some research on what normal people wear at colleges like mostly it is some pair of shorts jeans and some hoodies will be fine. Again not your whole wardrobe is required. Carry only what you need not what you love.

2. Library collection-

Some reading material is fine but not your whole collection of books is needed abroad. Books carry more space and weight in your suitcase and you can get some important things instead of them. You can buy books from your abroad city they don’t price much.

3. Lots of electronics-

Students generally make this mistake they bring a lot of electronics which they didn’t even get time to use like think logically why you will be needed an e-reader, I pad, I pod, the camera instead of them you can just bring your Phone which is having all of these. Instead of that make space for things which you will be needed for sure like a laptop.

4. Food-

Well,, it’s good to pack some homemade sweets but not your whole supermarket of junk food. What is the point of going to a new culture when you will not tasting new cuisine and getting engage with your old one? Also, Those junk food and every food from your home country will be available there too unless or until there are some homemade sweets which you can show up to your friends there you can bring them but not a whole store.

5. Forget your tools-

Well, This is important too; with your electronic gadgets also unpack your salon tools like hairdryer and straightener. Not because they carry too much weight or space but you will blow them up in your abroad city. We recommend you to buy a new one in your abroad city with that city’s electricity specification.

These were some things which we think are not required in your packing list instead of them you can bring memories with you by taking pictures of your loved ones and some more things which remind you of them. As a VISA CONSULTANT IN JALANDHAR, We wish you the best of luck for your trip abroad and for any query or help regarding your student visa you can be in touch with us.
